Couples of nudes, mainly good males,
you can feel their proud in Thorvaldsen’s faces.
Bodies like art, no more breath, no heart,
all in regard in Thorvaldsen’s gouge.
I followed the coast, went West and felt doubt,
when I saw Oresund, no fear I felt home.
I left all the treasures, my country gave me,
they provided marble, I made marvelous statues.
Yesterday’s people, nude headed or hat(ed),
emperors and crooks in Thorvaldsen’s eyes.
If you see a lepre, it’s just sign of time
which sometimes caused chalky falls of Thorvaldsen’s arms.
I followed the coast, went West and felt doubt,
when I saw Oresund, no fear I felt home.
I left all the treasures, my country gave me,
they provided marble, I made marvelous statues.
Couples of nudes, mainly good males,
you can feel their proud in Thorvaldsen’s faces.
Bodies like art, no more breath, no heart,
all in regard in Thorvaldsen’s gouge.
